Shipping policy

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.

Shipping rates quoted at the time of purchase are generated automatically by the website provider and may differ from final rates particularly for items requiring additional shipping services including but not limited to hazmat shipping, signature confirmation, and insurance. In the event that additional shipping services are required, a quote will be emailed to you with a link to pay the balance owed prior to shipping the order. Should you wish to cancel the order due to additional shipping charges prior to shipping the order, a full refund will be issued.

Should you decide to change the shipping service after your purchase and before shipping, please contact Banyan Pilot Shop as soon as possible. A quote will be emailed to you with a link to pay the balance owed prior to shipping the order. We may not be able to change the shipping service or recall your shipment once we transfer products to the carrier.

We attempt to transfer completed orders to the carrier during normal business hours and may be subject to the carrier's pickup schedule. Generally, complete orders placed Monday - Friday before 12 noon will be transferred to the carrier the same day, however, orders may take up to 5 business days. In the event of delays exceeding 5 business days, you will be contacted via the email or phone number given for the order.

Your order may not qualify for free shipping if items in your order require special shipping services such as but not limited to Hazmat shipping (life rafts, life vests, chemicals, et cetera), additional insurance (electronics including headsets, transceivers, calculators, satellite devices, and simulator equipment), and overweight or oversized items. You may wish to order those items separately to avoid overpaying for shipping.
